Meet the Adel Staff!
Mike Burggraaf
Mike is one of the owners of Adel Physical Therapy, Inc and is also a practicing physical therapist. He went to Wartburg College and graduated in 1999 with a major in biology and minor in athletic training. He then proceeded to Des Moines University Physical Therapy School in 2001 where he graduated with his Master’s degree. Mike enjoys time with his family, golfing, and following Hawkeye athletics.

Laura Hejtmanek
Laura is a staff physical therapist at Adel Physical Therapy. She graduated from Wartburg College in 2003 with a B.S. in Biology; and from Des Moines University in 2006 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, Kevin and their daughter Kelsie, reading, baking/cooking, playing volleyball, and being outdoors.

Meet the Clark Staff!
Steven Clark
Steven is co-owner of Adel Physical Therapy, Inc. The initial office of this corporation was opened in 1999 by Mr. Clark. He has a physical therapy degree from Mayo Foundation School of Physical Therapy and a Master of Health Science degree from the University of Indianapolis. He gained APTA orthopedic certification in 2001. Steven has extensive training in manual therapy including myofascial release, muscle energy, joint mobilization, strain - counterstrain and craniosacral therapy. He has taught multiple courses on each of these topics since 1990. His resume includes teaching orthopedic interventions for 9 years at Des Moines University (formerly University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences). Steven is dedicated to his profession and has held roles at the state, section and national levels of the American Physical Therapy Association. He has dedicated his practice to chronic pain management.

Blake Hardy
Blake Hardy is a 1993 Graduate of St. Cloud State University earning a BA in Biomedical Science and a 1995 Graduate of Des Moines University with an MS in Physical Therapy. In 2005 he went on to earn a Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Des Moines University. In addition, he is certified as an orthopedic specialist, OCS, by the American Physical Therapy Association. Outside of work Blake enjoys time with his wife and 2 children, hunting, and University of Iowa sports.

Lindsay Brown
Lindsay has been with Clark Physical Therapy since 2005. She graduated with a B.S. in Exercise Science (2001) and a Master's degree in Physical Therapy (2003) from the University of Iowa . Lindsay enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and traveling.

Kerri Hardy
Kerri graduated from Indiana State University in 1992 and obtained her Master's degree in Physical Therapy from Des Moines University in 1995. She completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy through Des Moines University in 2005. Kerri enjoys treating orthodpedic and women's health patients. She also is very involved with church and her children's activities.
